Description of work

We contracted with MEDOT to install a concrete invert on a deteriorating culvert in Cornish, Maine, and to fabricate concrete fish weirs at the inlet, outlet, and within the newly poured invert.

Additional work included a water by-pass using an 8-inch pump to control the water, sediment ponds, excavation for concrete footers, tying of steel mats for the footer, cleaning and sand blasting of host pipe, tying and installing steel within the host pipe in preparation for the gunite invert, and welding studs on host pipe to which to tie the rebar.
