Description of work
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation project X-A003(275), 26162 involved the rehabilitation of Bridge 005/091 located on US 302 in Crawford Notch. The project included, 925’ of various culvert slip-lining, 625’ of 87.25 X 63” tunnel liner plate with a 6.5 horizontal bend and a 3.5 degree vertical bend and approximately 27,000 bolts to assemble the run. Light weight cellular concrete was used to fill the annular space.
Rock scaling was done by Ameritech Slope Constructors.
